Different shooters pulled up in a dark hued vehicle close to East Allegheny and Kensington Roads in the city’s Kensington segment and started shooting into a group remaining on the walkway around 10:45 p.m., police told WPVI.

The shooters popped off around 40 shots prior to running away from the area, cops said.

Nine grown-up casualties were taken to an area emergency clinic with discharge wounds. Two were recorded in basic condition and seven others were steady, as per police.

What happened paving the way to the shooting wasn’t quickly clear, however First Agent Official John Stanford with the Philadelphia Police Division said it might have been focused on.

“As of now, it simply appears as though these people might have spotted somebody they needed to take shots at, left the vehicle, and started shooting at the gathering of people that were there.

We don’t have significantly more than that regarding thought process,” Stanford said.

The shooters stayed at large early Sunday morning. “We have some shameless [criminals] in this city that couldn’t care less.

We don’t yet know the races or politics of the shooter(s) or victims.
